地名与概况[edit]
村委会办公处靠近莲昌、莲梅两村，由此得名。全村540多户、1900多人，总面积3000多亩，其中耕地2000多亩。[1]
文化旅游[edit]
冯如故居是清代的青砖平房，建筑面积52平方米。[2] 昌梅村成立了文旅发展公司，培育乡村经营人才，推出文创产品，并创建了国家3A级旅游景区；据镇政府统计，2024年此项为村集体增收28万元。[3]
荣誉[edit]
昌梅村在2023年1月被司法部、民政部命名为第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区），同年11月进入广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村之列；2024年3月评上2023年度省卫生村，4月又进入第一批省乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
沿革[edit]
1949年设昌梅乡公所，1958年为生产大队，1984年改称乡，1986年成立村民委员会，1989年称管理区，此后在1998年10月经恩平市人民政府批准，正式定名为昌梅村民委员会。[1]
