白沙村是广东省台山市汶村镇下辖的行政村，在镇政府所在的鱼地圩西南面，南临南海，东面以白沙运河为界，西面与沙奇村接壤[1]。村委会靠近圩镇，往来方便[1]。据镇政府网站的村情资料，全村5363人，耕地2041亩，几乎全是水田[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，白沙一带属新宁县海宴都；民国时期设白沙乡，归台山县第九区[1]。1958年成立白沙大队，1988年改称管理区，1999年设村委会[1]。2004年撤并村级组织，原来的白沙、鱼地、升康三个村委会合并，组成今天的白沙村委会[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村子属亚热带海洋性季风气候，年平均气温约21.8℃[1]。耕地中水田2021亩，旱地只有20亩[1]。沿海有咸水围塘四千多亩[1]。2021年1月公布的广东省卫生村名单中，有本村的鱼地村[3]。

东边的白沙运河近年经过整治，沿岸修了约1千米的景观栈道，成为附近居民散步休闲的去处[2][4]。

经济[edit]

种植业以水稻为主；靠海的优势使浅海养殖较为发达，围塘里主要养虾和蚝[1]。在镇的规划中，白沙村划入文旅观光区，可借助的资源有神灶温泉和光伏旅游等[5]。西泮村有36栋房屋近年整修了外立面[2]。
