西溪社区是广东省佛山市顺德区龙江镇的社区，2001年经顺德市人民政府批准设立居委会[1]。“西溪”原是当地一条龙船的名字，1956年组建高级社时用作社名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

最初在1950年归沙田乡管，叫西社；1956年办高级社，借用本地一艘龙船的名号“西溪”作社名[1]。此后1958年改称西溪大队，1961年拆成西溪、南镇、独岗三个大队，两年后又重新合一[1]。1983年起称乡，1987年称村，到2001年获顺德市政府批准成立西溪居委会[1]。
