锦龙社区在佛山市顺德区陈村镇中心，面积0.74平方千米，名称取自旧圩的锦龙大街，2002年12月挂牌成立社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名来自陈村旧圩的锦龙大街。[3]1960年，锦龙大队自赤花乡大队分出；1963年，合成、南涌、锦龙三个大队合并为合成大队。[1]2001年9月，锦龙由村改居；次年10月调整辖区，12月起正式作为社区运作。[2]

社区概况[edit]

常住居民5280人，外来人口3000多；街前、坝头街各为一个居民小组。[2]居委会出资办了两所“星光之家”，面积分别为1000平方米和440平方米。[2]
