历史沿革[edit]
据《广东省顺德市地名志》，村约在明天顺年间（1457至1465年）开建，最初因甘氏有官衔叫“甘村”；后来他姓渐多，以梁氏最大，且有人中进士、举人，认为甘氏不足以代表全村，便给“甘”加上丝旁，改称“绀村”。[3]2001年9月，绀村与二龙合并，成立绀现村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村民以种植桔果、花卉和到企业务工为主，分6个村民小组，居住人口约7500。[1][2]2022年入选淘宝村；2024年8月，进入「佛山市百千万工程第二批典型镇村」名单；2026年1月，被评为「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
