历史沿革[edit]
据《广东省顺德市地名志》，西汉时这里已有居民。从西淋岗望过去，村里的大雾岗像一条石船，加上本是海边沙洲，所以叫石洲。[3]1952年设乡，1958年改作大队，1983年又改回乡，1987年起叫村，1990年起设石洲村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村常住人口4600多人，另有外来暂住人口约9000。[2]2021年和2022年，石洲村两度入选淘宝村名单；2019年9月又列入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内现存清代建的罗亨参政云公祠、文海松庄仇公祠，还有芒果、龙眼、木棉和细叶榕等百年老树。[2]文海松庄仇公祠康熙四十年（1701）起建，到光绪九年（1883）合房重建；2006年10月，它成为佛山市第四批文保单位，祠内墙上留有“醉乐琼池”等壁画。[4]
