新河社区是佛山市南海区西樵镇的社区。村子始于明代，因开河垦地而建，名为新河，曾称新罗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初期属先登堡，新中国成立初属先登乡，1953年土改后仍然如此。1958年9月，它是西樵公社的先登营（后称大队）；1959年8月随民乐公社，成为新河大队。[1]

1983年底成立新河乡，其后改称行政村、管理区，1999年5月设村民委员会。2013年「村改居」，设立新河居民委员会。[1]

2019年9月，新河社区进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
