旦河村属茂名市电白区旦场镇，是镇辖的行政村，坐落在镇域中部[1]。博雅地名网记载其下设9个村民小组，登记962户，人口5571，辖区面积6.04平方公里，另有3493亩耕地[1]。

1953年这里建乡，1958年改编为生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年又改回村委会，名称一直用到现在[1]。

据该页介绍，村内年均气温约22摄氏度，年降水量2200毫米上下；种植的作物主要是荔枝、龙眼、花生、水稻、红薯等[1]。突出的收入项目为荔枝、龙眼、肉猪和咸水养殖，上一年全村农村经济总收入记为1899万元[1]。村集体把山岭发包给人种果树，收取承包金[1]。镇人民政府设在本村的人民西路14号[2]。

2021年12月被广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月上榜2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
