上沙社区是佛山市禅城区祖庙街道下辖的社区，地处佛山中心城区。汾江边有太平沙、鹰嘴沙、文昌沙、鲤鱼沙四处沙洲，辖区内的太平沙在其上游，故称上沙。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2002年，上沙东街、上沙中街（均始建于解放初期）和江北三个居委会归并，组成上沙社区居委会，沿用至今。[1]
