镇安村在禅城区东部，面积约2.5平方千米，东面和北面与南海区桂城街道相邻，南临季华路，被称为佛山一环进入禅城区的东大门。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，镇安同塘房、南沙、南村一起编为南海县上游公社的东三生产大队；1966年曾想改称红卫，没有沿用。80年代，它先后改为乡政府、管理区办事处，隶石湾区环市镇，1999年5月重设村民委员会；禅城区成立后仍属环市镇，2003年9月环市改设街道，2006年6月起归祖庙街道。[3]

博雅地名网载，村总人口约10400人，其中常住2800人、暂住约7600人，下设中一、中二、中三、中四、升一、升二6个村民小组。[2]

经济[edit]

该村以「三旧」改造与开发商合作、建成物业按比例分成的方式更新，推进天丰花园、星星广场、粤辉花园3个项目。[2] 2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局把它列入2021年度乡村治理示范村创建单位；2023年11月，它入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1]
