上沙村是四会市城中街道辖下的行政村，在“四连”公路两旁、白沙电站上游[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
绥江靠近城区的一段，上有沙头（又称上沙），中有白沙，下有沙尾，村名由“沙头”而来[1]。新中国成立后属清塘人民公社上沙大队，1989年为清塘镇上沙管理区，1994年划归城中街道，1998年设上沙村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
辖区面积5.5平方千米，5个村民小组，人口816人。耕地700亩，其中水田400多亩，鱼塘近200亩；村民在山地旱地种植十月桔500多亩、青竹300多亩[1]。2021年12月，上沙村获2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
