历史沿革[edit]
该村永红村由生产大队演变而来，1966年起叫永红。80年代，大队先改为乡政府，后随石湾区的环市镇调整，成为管理区办事处；90年代末恢复村民委员会，原来的经济合作社改为村民小组。禅城区2002年底成立后，该村隶环市镇，2003年9月环市镇改设街道，2006年6月归并入祖庙街道。[3]

博雅地名网载，全村总人口约4300人，其中常住约800人、暂住约3500人。[2]
经济[edit]
村集体的收入主要来自物业经营，物业总面积为102000平方米，页面称其为典型的「城中村」。[2] 2023年4月公布的名单中，永红村属2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位。[1]
