地理环境[edit]
村面积0.546平方千米，耕地273.4亩，共396户、2334人（年份未注明）。2013年工农业总产值1377万元，农业部分为248万元，工业部分为1129万元，农民人均的纯收入为8470元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子创立于宋末，卢氏先人喜爱此地水秀，选择凤港一带定居，后来才有“凤新”之名；1958年以前属潮阳第八区，叫“上练乡凤港新村”，1958年编为生产大队，此后依次改为乡（1984年）、村委会、管理区（1988年），1999年重又称村委会。[1]
凤新村入选2021年和2022年淘宝村名单；2021年12月获评“2021年广东省卫生村”；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
