桅夹村是珠海市斗门区白蕉镇下辖的行政村，清光绪末年（1908年）立村。村名来自村中一块形如帆船桅杆底座的巨石「桅夹石」，当地人叫它「桅夹仔」。村内的大王宫工丈摩崖石刻是广东省文物保护单位。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
清代中后期，桅夹石周边淤积成滩，后围垦成田，民工在此落户，渐成村落。[1] 建国后叫桅夹沙村，在中山县第八区的白蕉乡；1965年起编为桅夹大队，划归斗门县白蕉公社；1984年改作桅夹乡，1986年起称桅夹村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
大王宫工丈摩崖石刻凿在一块花岗岩的立面上，宽2.15米、高2.7米，凿刻部分呈「T」字形。正面阳刻「大王宫」「工丈」二词，另有一道带刻度的竖长条棱，长1.94米，每格0.38米，被认为是清代地亩尺的标准实物，在广东属首次发现的同类石刻。[2]
石刻先在2011年成为珠海市文物保护单位，次年又经广东省人民政府核定，升列第七批广东省文物保护单位。2023年因石体坍塌的隐患进行抢险加固，同年9月竣工验收。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，桅夹村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
