泷头村在南雄市水口镇境内，位于水口镇东南部，属革命老区村[1]。下辖8个自然村，分为8个村民小组，共365户、1509人；耕地1040亩，另有林地24000亩。主要作物为水稻、花生。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设泷头农会，1954年组成泷头初级社，1956年升格为高级社；1963年泷头、泷下两片并为泷头大队；1983年起称泷头乡，1988年称泷头管理区，撤销管理区、设立泷头村委会，一直延续至今。[1]
