弱过村在南雄市水口镇境内，位于水口镇东北部，属革命老区村[1]。下辖10个自然村，分为18个村民小组，共565户、2152人；耕地2611亩，另有林地2962.7亩。主要作物为黄烟、水稻、花生。村名在官方资料中多写作篛过村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
地名由来：相传浈江涨水时，曾有神仙手持三片篛叶渡江而过，村名由此而来。[2]
1949年设弱过农会，1954年成为弱过社，1956年升格为弱过高级社，1960年成为弱过大队；1983年起称弱过乡，1988年称弱过管理区，撤销管理区、设立弱过村委会，一直延续至今。[1]
