历史沿革[edit]
地名由来：因村子地势较低，四周较高，如同走下楼梯，故称下楼。[2]
1949年设下楼农会，1954年组成下楼初级社，1955年升格为高级社；1963年下楼片与大沙洲片并为下楼大队；1983年起称下楼乡，1988年称下楼管理区，撤销管理区、设立下楼村委会，一直延续至今。[1]
