新城西社区是雄州街道下辖的居民社区，位于南雄新城南端，因在新城西部而得名，管辖面积约0.7平方千米。[1]社区设8条自然街巷，20名小组长，驻社区的机关、团体和企事业单位有37个。[1]

社区设立于2001年7月16日，沿用至今；其党支部在2002年6月组建。[1]
