历史沿革[edit]
上坪一带在1949年设有农会，其后先后改为初级社（1954年）、高级社（1956年）和大队（1961年）。[1]1983年政社分开，成立上坪乡；1988年称管理区，1998年12月管理区撤销，改设村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村有1435人，土地1500亩（水田1100亩、旱地400亩），以水稻和黄烟为主；党员36人，年龄偏大（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。[1]2019年9月，上坪村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
