新城东社区是雄州街道下辖的居民社区，在南雄新城的东部，因方位得名。[1]居委会办公室设在新城市场路，辖区含8条街道，东起雄中路，西到沿江东路，北自沿江东路河边，南至雄州公园。[1]

社区设立于2002年7月16日，沿用至今。[1]
