沙岗村是广州市增城区小楼镇西北部的行政村，因村建在山岗下的沙石滩上而得名，种植茶树菇和百合花[1]。

历史沿革与地名[edit]

村名取自山岗下的沙石滩，起初称沙子岗，后简称沙岗[1]。1955年办起初级社，1956年办成同丰高级社，1958年组建沙岗大队，1983年改为沙岗乡，1987年1月撤乡改村，设沙岗村民委员会[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内有439户2023人，分属7个经济合作社，其中外出1200人，常住823人；总面积5平方千米，耕地1919亩、林地8378亩、鱼塘270亩。农民以种水稻为主，2007年起引种百合花，面积达300亩[1]。二龙河、福正公路、广河高速都经过本村，村里处理了广河高速的征地问题[1]。

2021年9月，沙岗村列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶树菇）；2021年12月获「广东省卫生村」称号；2023年8月获评「2022年度广州市美丽乡村」[1]。
