地名与历史沿革[edit]
据何氏族谱，元末这里已成村，最早叫小陋、小陋巷，之后改为小楼。另有一说是，宋末有位百岁老人临终前以屋中有小漏告诫后人防微杜渐，后人取谐音称小楼[1]。1952年土改时划为小楼乡，1956年分为高原、新楼、西园、大楼4个高级社，1962年合为一个小楼大队，1983年11月恢复为小楼乡，1987年初乡改为村[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村内人口3762人（常住2462人，外出1300人），分属17个合作社；总面积4.93平方千米，耕地2300亩、林地1744亩，村民以种水稻为主，多数外出务工经商[1]。近年配合何仙姑旅游景区建设，推进梓里旅游古村改造，对仙湖、高原、旧屋3个合作社做了环境改造[1]。2024年3月获命名「2023年广东省卫生村」[1]。
