庙潭村是广州市增城区小楼镇东部的行政村，东临增江河，隔江与正果镇相望，派潭河、二龙河在村域内汇入增江[1]。
地名与历史沿革[edit]
村名取自庙潭圩；派潭水汇入增江处形成一个深潭，是庙潭古圩名的由来[1]。1952年土改时划为庙潭小乡，1956年办成集锋高级社，1958年组建庙潭大队，1983年改为庙潭乡，1987年1月撤乡改村[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村总面积5.95平方千米，人口2400多人，下辖20个合作社、7个自然村，其中林地232公顷，水田与旱地合计200公顷，另有鱼塘40公顷；经济以种植和养殖为主，发展蔬菜、水果、禽畜、水产等[1]。2024年3月获命名「2023年广东省卫生村」，2024年6月列入2023年度「广州市美丽乡村」名单[1]。
