高田村在行政区划上属从化区太平镇，是该镇的一个行政村，村委会设在镇域东部。[1] 全村面积约9平方千米，村委会介绍的人口为3700人、农户850户（该介绍未注明年份）。村委会距从化城区约27公里，距太平镇区约7公里。[1]

村内有6个自然村，省道118线从村中通过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立高平大队，到1981年改名为高杨大队，到1983年12月改名高田乡，到1987年改名高田村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2021年12月，高田村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，高田村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

经济[edit]

据村委会介绍，村里的生计是：栽种荔枝、龙眼；水田里种水稻、花生。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的历史建筑与传统风貌建筑推荐线索名单中，列有本村的马村宗祠、平山围门牌楼，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
