村委会驻地在秋枫洞，村名由此而来。[1]

据博雅地名网，1969年“公社化”时建立秋枫大队，到1983年改名秋枫乡，到1987年1月改名秋枫村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，秋枫村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2023年5月，秋枫村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2023年8月，秋枫村获评「2022年度“广州市美丽乡村”」称号。[1]
  • 2026年1月，秋枫村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
