坪地村属广州市从化区吕田镇，是该镇辖下的行政村。全村面积约24.2平方千米，在吕田镇西片，吕东线（X262）旁，位于原东明镇政府大院内；下设8个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口1016人（年份未注明）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名取自村委会驻地坪地村。该村于1962年自五和大队析出，1978年5月编入东明人民公社；到1983年12月，并进五和乡，1987年1月又单独设立坪地村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种高山番薯、萝卜和沙糖桔，并输出富余劳动力增加收入。距从化市区约80公里，离吕田镇约20公里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
