福安村位于万顷沙镇西南部，十一涌至十三涌之间，紧靠洪奇沥水道，地势平坦。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

福安围是村子最初的名字，清末民国初年围垦而成。[1]

1959年，村从新安大队分出，7月划入番禺县；大队曾称立新大队（村的自述为1960年成立，另一处记载为1969年称立新），1984年改乡，1987年成立村民委员会，隶属万顷沙镇，2005年10月起属南沙区。[1]

1986年撤区设镇后，村名正式定为福安村。村名取「幸福平安」之意。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2008年全村271户、1060人，辖区面积2270亩，耕地1422亩。村民以耕地为生。[1]

2021年9月，福安村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（番石榴）；2024年11月，获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定。[1]
