历史沿革[edit]
村民委员会设在虎山村，因而得名[1]。
清代隶属开平县长静都，民国年间划入第二区。新中国成立后归第一区。虎山在1958年同翠山乡合并为虎山大队，1975年两处再次分开。进入八十年代，先在1984年设乡，1989年改为管理区，1993年随开平设市归入马冈镇，1999年起称村民委员会；2004年10月，翠山村民委员会并入，仍称虎山村民委员会[1]。

村集体2009年的收入为8.5万元[1]；村里有党员63人[1]。
江门市政府网报道，华昌马冈鹅保育基地在红丰村委会所属的虎山塘，水面上饲养着上万只马冈鹅[3]。
文化[edit]
2020年8月，虎山村列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，项目为马冈鹅[1]。
