白沙村位于溪柄镇驻地西北约8千米，海拔15米，村委会驻白沙自然村。[1]村子靠着溪边，溪边有一片白色的沙滩，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国30年（1941年）属福安县第一区（赛岐）柏洋乡的白沙保。1954年时划入黄沙乡；1956年白沙高级社创办，1958年8月组成白沙大队，1984年改设村委会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，经福建省绿化委员会命名，白沙村成为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
