乌石村位于武平县东北部，距镇政府6公里，县道高林公路穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名因村址位于乌石崠东部山脚而得。[3]

民国时隶朱坊堡；建国后它仍只是朱坊之内的一处大自然村。1987年1月，乌石自朱坊分离，单独设为村委会，隶中堡镇。[2]

2024年1月与2023年1月，乌石村获授予2023、2022年度「平安村居（社区）」称号；2023年12月，经认定为2023年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（朗德鹅）；2022年10月，省农业农村厅核定其为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
