杨梅村位于岩前镇政府西北角的山区，因山地多杨梅树而得名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村因地处山区、多杨梅树，故名杨梅。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年，此地称岩前区杨梅村；次年改称岩前区杨梅乡。1956年归岩前区岩前乡，1958年归岩前乡。1959年以后为岩前公社杨梅大队，1984年改设杨梅村委会，隶属岩前镇。[1]

自然环境与物产[edit]

杨梅溪流经村内，溪边有一棵需五人合抱的古枫树，山中另有野生八月桂与野生杨梅，村内还有流水石，雨季会形成瀑布。[2]

村内主要物产有桃子、柿子、李子、茶、杨梅、红菌等。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
