白沙村是白沙镇的一个行政村，镇政府驻地就在村中。全村下辖五个自然村，分别是白沙溪东、白沙溪西、热水、后隔和秋竹坪。[1]

村名的来历：万安溪边有一处沙坂，称东坂，河水长年冲刷，河沙洁白，因此得名白沙。博雅地名网在镇条中另记镇驻地河边的大沙石坂，与此说略有出入。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代这里属福村社，民国初划入福苏区。至1934年（民国二十三年）改属雁石区，并设白沙办事处，之后归白沙镇管辖。[1]

1949年属白沙区；1952年改称沙和区（第十一区）白沙乡下的白沙村。1958年列为白沙公社的白沙大队，1984年设白沙村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

郑樵墓位于村北尖峰尾山的半山处，原在越王山下（属白沙镇一带）。南宋乾道九年（1173年），丞相陈俊卿将其迁葬此处；清嘉庆二十二年（1817年）重修，1984年再修，并朝东、西、南三面扩大了保护范围。[1]

村西北约1公里处的吴氏公祠，即「中共闽粤赣边临时代表大会旧址」，详见白沙镇条目。[1]
