白沙村在回龙乡东部。村子东面接西瓯浦村，西侧是水吉镇，南面是均中村，北面是半天霄村，离建阳市区约35千米。[1]

全村总面积13.7平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：村子周围缺少沙石，“无砂”之称不够好听，于是改用意思相同的“白沙”。[1]

明清时期村址属建瓯县二十三都，民国时期称水吉县玉瑶乡白沙堡。新中国成立后取名白沙村，隶属关系多次变动：先后经过水吉县回龙区与建阳县玉瑶乡，之后并入回龙公社的均中大队，再归马岚公社，现属回龙乡。[1]

1984年改为白沙村村民委员会，地名沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

境内多为低山丘陵，东部地势稍高，北部也高于南部。[2]

平均海拔约675.5米；高峰顶为最高点，海拔1098米；竹林前是最低点，海拔253米。[2]

山上盛产杉木、松木和杂木。[2]

人口民族[edit]

截至2011年末，村中住户152户，人口603人，居民均为汉族。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地均为水田，农作物以水稻、烟叶为主。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村外西北方向五华里的高山中有清凉寺，树木高大，修竹成林，每逢庙会香客众多；此外还有三山宝殿和村头小寺庙。[2]
