下山村是福建省漳州市南靖县船场镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南部，海拔约1000米，村中有树海瀑布。村子东与南坑镇交界，西与书洋镇交界，南与平和县交界。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村落面积2.6平方公里，有1320人、286户，分为9个自然小组。村中耕地1120亩，山地23000亩。距镇政府15公里，距北邻的甘芳村10公里。[2]

村南的十二排，博雅地名网称其为南靖县最高的山峰，海拔1100米，常年云雾缭绕，林木茂盛。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村子由高港分居下来而成，高港地势高，下山地势低，故名。[1]

名胜[edit]

树海瀑布位于村境内，瀑布宽45米、高21米，因有「华东黄果树」之称而为人所知。[3]

产业[edit]

村中山多林茂，毛竹较多，地势适宜茶树、柑桔与蜜柚生长，也适宜反季节蔬菜和生姜。博雅地名网称，村中的主打产品为高山茶与生态旅游。[2]

沿革[edit]

解放前此地是书教乡的下山保；解放后并入第七区的下山乡。1956年组成光兴初级社，两年后公社化，编为下山耕作区。1961年设下山大队，1984年起称村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年6月，下山村入选福建省第四批省级传统村落名单。[1]
