历史沿革[edit]
1952年为下山大队，1983年设乡人民政府，1987年称管理区，1999年定名下山村委会，沿用至今。[1]
广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予其「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2020年8月，省农业农村厅发布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单中，有该村，产品为红薯芋；2019年9月，它被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
