朗塘村是廉江市新民镇的行政村，辖朗塘村、岭头村、村仔村、沙坡等12条自然村；村民约3577人，耕地2681亩，种荔枝、龙眼、甘蔗、稻谷，并以牧草养牛。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子四面有塘，村民便取名朗塘。[1]1953年为朗塘乡，1958年改朗塘大队，隶新民公社；1983年改乡，1987年为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，广东省农业农村厅公布「首批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」名单，朗塘村以荔枝入选。[1]
