大坪村位于南浦乡西南部，海拔约380米，三面环山，北与南浦、龙桥两村接壤，辖大坪、溪尾两个自然村。[1][2][3]

村名最早是村民搭竹木大棚居住时的称呼，后写作“大坪”。村中徐姓为大族，清康熙年间曾筑城防盗。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，大坪归南靖县管辖，新中国成立初为程溪区南浦乡的大坪村。1957年10月改属漳浦县，起初隶属石榴区；1958年9月改归长桥公社的南浦管理区，1961年7月南浦公社成立，此地称大坪大队。1984年，大队改为大坪村委会。[1][2]

红三团曾在村里大片林地中活动，那一带至今仍有“红军寮”的地名。[2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中共有十五个姓氏，以徐姓为大宗。徐姓始祖谷海公明初自南靖雁塔迁来，后繁衍为大族，其余姓氏有的外迁，有的人丁渐少。大坪徐氏大宗祠堂设上下两厅，中有天井，两侧为厢房。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

清康熙年间，徐氏为防盗贼筑起大坪城。城墙今已大多无存，东、西、南、北四座城门楼尚在，门楼上供有神像。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2022年9月，村获评漳州市级“一村一品”专业村，产品为绿竹笋；同年12月，省农业农村厅将大坪村定为福建省2022年度“一村一品”专业村，产品为竹笋。[1][2]
