塘头村是福建省漳州市漳浦县深土镇下辖的行政村，位于深土村北面，与近院村、大肖村相邻。村名沿用旧地名「塘头」，原称钱塘。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，村名「塘头」因村庄建在一口名为「钱塘」的池塘前头而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

钱塘曾是这一带的总地名：明代属钱塘里，清代改为钱塘保。后来钱塘的池塘湮没，「钱塘」之名渐被忘却，「塘头」一名则一直沿用。[1]

民国时期塘头属金塘乡塘头保，新中国成立初期属第九区（深土区）大肖乡。1958年9月起属深土公社近院大队，1964年，塘头自近院大队分出，另立大队；1984年9月，改称塘头村。[1]

墩柄村的开基祖建邦，据博雅地名网所载，是钱塘（塘头）开基祖君商的长子。[3]

文物古迹[edit]

村内有「塘头陈氏家庙」和「塘头玄天上帝庙」，均为县级文物保护单位。[2]
