历史沿革[edit]
因村旁有一口大鱼塘，故称塘头。[1]
新中国成立初设塘头乡，1958年改塘头大队，1983年设塘头乡政府，1986年设塘头村委会，1989年称塘头管理区，1998年复称村委会，沿用至今。[1]
