得名[edit]

元朝末年，村中始祖柳国泰自漳浦县乌石乡下坂社迁居于此。大家怀念故乡，便把新的家园也叫作乌石。[1]

沿革[edit]

1944年此地隶属西岳乡的东埔保；解放后归第六区东车乡，1958年列入火箭公社的东车大队。1961年拆社、拆队，此地转由菜埔公社管辖，设乌石大队。1966年归入火田公社，1984年公社改为乡，大队改为村民委员会。[1]

生产与古迹[edit]

村民靠枇杷、荔枝种植和外出务工维持生计，农民人均收入8312元。林地363亩，耕地为184亩。[1]

村中有明清时期的古井和柳氏宗祠。[1]
