白沙社区是福建省漳州市龙海区招商局漳州开发区下辖的社区，前身为港尾镇的白沙村，2003年改设社区居委会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄依山临海，取白色海沙之意，简称「白沙」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年此地属海澄县城外东路的仙恬保。1947年，它成为港尾镇的白沙保；1949年11月，改归海澄县第三区的店地乡。[1]

1959年起，白沙成为港尾公社的白沙大队；1960年并县后，仍是白沙大队，归龙海县港尾公社管辖。1984年，改为港尾乡的白沙村；1988年，再度改为港尾镇的白沙村委会。[1]

开发区于2002年3月实行区地合一，白沙由此划归其管辖，并改称「招商局漳州开发区白沙村」。2003年7月，该村委会撤销，白沙社区居委会设立。[1]
