白沙村是东石镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区南端，与金门岛隔海相望，历史上曾是郑成功操练水师的屯兵之地。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村落滨海，为晋南溪流带来的泥沙冲积而成的沙洲半岛，沙洁白，故名白沙。明末，曾、张、谢、黄、李、周等姓迁居于此。[3]

人口与产业[edit]

全村946户，总人口3813人，分为八个区，总面积1.8平方千米，滩涂5000亩。[1]

村民依靠海上养殖，主要养紫菜、花蛤与计小海。[1]

2024年11月，白沙村被认定为2024年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（紫菜）。[3]

文物[edit]

白沙古战场遗址为省级文物保护单位。1655年郑军与清兵在白沙滩头激战，遗址现存白沙城残墙、国姓井与饮马槽。[2][4]
