杨梅村是德化县杨梅乡下辖的行政村，乡人民政府驻地，位于乡域西南部，地处中山区的山间小谷地中，海拔620米。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此地属梅中里，并在最早开发的地方建起梅峰社。民国时期归葛坑乡管辖，设有杨梅保。[3]

1951年，此地划入第六区的和平乡。1956年组建杨梅高级社，1958年设杨梅大队，1984年改制成立杨梅村委会。[2][3]

经济[edit]

村内有石灰石、黄金、煤、高岭土和紫砂土等矿产。经济以农林为主，兼采黄金的边角矿，农副产品有木材、毛竹、笋干、红菇和茶油。[2]

村中的杨梅街原称店仔街，由永春籍店主开设的几家商店发展而来，后建成长约1.2公里的杨梅街，街上商铺林立，每逢2、7日为墟日。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有“王坑窑”古窑址一处。大龙一带生长古银杏树。美坑洋边的山仑上有一处摩崖石刻，博雅地名网称其文字为女真文，并认为是金兵过境时所刻。[1][2]
