杨梅乡是福建省泉州市德化县下辖的乡镇级行政单位，位于德化县西北部，与尤溪、永泰两县接壤，乡政府驻杨梅村。全乡土地总面积106.62平方千米。[1][2][5]

乡内原有7个行政村。2026年，德化县人民政府批准将原杨梅乡云溪村与上云村的范围合并，设立杨梅乡云溪村村民委员会，全乡现为6个行政村。[2][4]

地名由来[edit]

乡名取自乡政府驻地杨梅村。据传张厢使途经此地，在杨梅树下歇息，此后在这里建房定居，地名由此形成。[1]

《清河张氏族谱》则记述了另一种来历：唐末战乱之时，张、林、刘、吴四人结义为兄弟，自闽官县（今福州）动身，辗转经永泰来到这里。一人在树下小睡，梦见杨梅落入口中，醒来果然嘴里含着一颗，地名自此得来，时在唐乾符二年。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

乾德五年（967年）的记载显示，此地隶属常平乡的杨梅中团。到洪武十四年（1381年），改划入杨梅上团。清顺治三年（1646年），又并入梅中里之下的和杨半里。[3]

民国时期，境内在1933年划分为五个保，分别属桂阳、葛坑两处联保，归德化县第三区管辖。1939年又设云溪保与杨梅保，隶属葛岭乡。[3]

1950年起，此地先后隶属第四区葛坑乡，1951年组建和平乡，归第六区。1952年划分第六、第九两区，并设白叶、云溪二乡。1956年改属上涌区，1958年归葛坑区，同年10月再归葛坑公社，1960年合入上涌公社。[3]

1961年设立杨梅人民公社，社址先设于白叶村，1976年7月迁往杨梅村。[10][9]

1959年，和顺大队划归尤溪县管辖，1979年重新划回德化，改隶杨梅公社；1984年改设杨梅乡。[3]

2011年4月获环境保护部授予的「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

乡境多为山间谷地，与尤溪、永泰两县接壤。乡政府所在地海拔620米，距县城76公里。[2]

人口民族[edit]

2004年末，全乡总户数1663户，总人口6303人，均为汉族。[2]

文化[edit]

每逢元宵佳节，乡内有舞纸狮的习俗。[2]

三通鼓是杨梅乡的传统表演，以大鼓、钟、锣、大钹、小钹和唢呐合奏。前导者举一面蓝白色彩旗，两人抬着置于鼓架上的大鼓行进，鼓点由慢转急，往返三次，称为“三起擂”。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

杨梅村内有两座宋代建造的寺院，青云寺和仙亭寺。村中还有“王坑窑”古窑址一处，以及一处摩崖石刻。[8]

云溪村的云溪鱼池楼是明代正德年间（1506—1521年）始建的木构楼房，为云溪林氏家族最早的居所，兼具居住与祭祀功能。据百度百科，该楼于2025年12月31日入选福建省第十一批省级文物保护单位，2026年2月9日正式公布。[6]

位于西墘村后山的天花寨，海拔1124米。民国初年，苏亿率义军以此为据点修筑寨堡；1913年，北洋军阀久攻不下，改用炮火轰击，义军同年10月撤离。现存寨墙完好。[7]

白叶村现存清代窑址4处，和顺村有一座为防土匪而建于1949年的土楼。[10][11]
