上坑村位于盖德镇南部，海拔800米，距德化县城约15公里，村域面积1.82平方千米。村名的来历是乡人开发此地时建厝堂号「相卿」，村以堂号为名，1949年后因村民误报而写作「上坑」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早在明代，村子所在之地已在集贤乡永丰里中；清代归在坊里上林社，民国初期仍依清制。1944年（民国三十三年）它成为锦福乡寮坑保的一部分。1950年，此地先为第一区锦福乡寮坑村，次年改入三凤乡，同属第一区。1952年转归第八区，1955年成为第八区三福乡的辖地，1956年划入浔中区。1958年它隶属浔中公社三福大队，1961年另立上坑大队，归盖德公社；1984年改为村委会，隶盖德镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「上坑革命烈士墓」（涂华淮墓、涂华煅墓、涂华延墓）为县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

上坑村在2022年10月经福建省农业农村厅认定，位列「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
