迎头村是迳口镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在迎头村，村名由此而来；1998年撤销迎头管理区，设迎头村民委员会。[1] 村委会辖区面积9平方千米，耕地1799亩，水田1409亩，下辖20个自然村，592户2002人（据博雅地名网所载村情，约2008年数据）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村民委员会设于1998年。其前身迎头管理区始于1987年，更早的迎头大队始于1958年，1953年这里属上凤乡。[1]
经济[edit]
人均收入约5500元、集体收入2.8万元（均为2008年）；主导产业为柑桔、花生种植和禽畜、水产养殖。[1] 2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月又入选广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
