上坑村在汕头市潮阳区河溪镇，位置偏僻，以出产姜薯见称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名因处涸陇坑上端而得。[2]据博雅地名网，清康熙年间（1662至1722年）祖先来此建村，此后隶属多变：1949至1957年在华阳乡内，1958年为幸福公社的生产大队，1962年转入河溪公社，80年代起先后称村委会、管理区，1999年定为现称。[1]
经济[edit]
