塘头村是福建省泉州市惠安县净峰镇下辖的行政村，坐落在烟墩山下，依山傍海，地处斗尾港南岸[2]。村名由来：先人建成的顶祖厝坐东向西，祖厝前有一口大池塘，故名塘头[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据村中老人口传，塘头自然村最早的居民约在公元1680年前后由别处迁来，分成下厝、顶厝两支[2]。顶祖厝中厅尚悬挂民国十五年（1926年）福建省省长所题的“慈孝允昭”匾额[2]。

2000年，本村从原行政村分出，独立设村，下辖塘头与上坑街两个自然村[2]。

2005年以来，本村多次被惠安县委、县政府授予「基本实现宽裕型小康村」「平安村居」「计划生育合格村」「计生优质服务先进村」和「先进民兵营」等称号[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

塘头北新厝位于本村，年代为1900年，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，厝主为清光绪年间的商人[1]。
