南安村位于惠安县紫山镇的西北端，地处黄塘溪上游。村西侧山上的一片瓦寺是村内最主要的古迹。[1][3][5]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名原作「南垵」。古时张姓村民迁到一片瓦寺南面的坡地上居住，取名南垵，后来谐音写作南安。因办公驻地设在南安自然村，村名便定为南安。[1]

1949年后到1958年，村子归惠安县九区的民群乡。1958年，它先隶属东红公社，之后改称黄塘公社，并设南安生产大队。1984年10月，村子改为村民委员会。1999年，村子从黄塘镇分出，归紫山镇管辖。[1]

地理与姓氏[edit]

村子西侧紧邻坝下村，东北与螺城镇相邻。村中主要姓氏有郑、张、彭、胡、林、任、黄、成等。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

一片瓦寺位于村西侧一片瓦山的山顶，山上巨石覆盖如瓦，寺洞即为天然的石室。明代乡贤戴卓峰辞官归隐时在此开辟居所，后人把天然石洞改建成寺宇。山中岩壁上有明代戴卓峰及清代、近代无名氏的摩崖题刻十多段。[3][5]

一片瓦寺摩崖石刻被列为惠安县第一批县级文物保护单位，寺本身则于1984年经县人民政府公布为第一批文物保护单位。[6][5]

寺中有太姥娘娘石塔，碑文刻「尧封太姥娘娘舍利塔」九字，据博雅地名网所载，石塔建于唐代。[4]
