杨梅村地处屏山乡东南，北侧为瑞美村，东边挨着王坪村，西面与许坑村相连，南边是蒋山村，周边群山包围。古时村内多杨梅树，因而得名；此前史称树梅垅。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年改称屏山乡杨梅村；此前的1958年为屏山公社辖村，1950年转入大田县第六区，原属德化县第四区。[4]

经济[edit]

村民以种植业为主要生计，茶叶种植为村民带来可观的额外收入。[2]

文化[edit]

杨梅村被列为中国传统古村落，2019年6月列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。[1][6]

2024年7月，杨梅村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的蛇形厝为清代民居，坐北朝南，正堂东侧的护厝由十一阶悬山式屋面组成，形如蛇行，长约30米。2017年2月，蛇形厝列入「第八批县级文物保护单位」名单。[5]
